We make robes and towels in our Orange County, California studio, so we know exactly how to keep them soft, absorbent, and looking new. Here's the simple routine.
How to wash a robe
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low. Wash separately or with like colors the first few times.
The one mistake to avoid
Skip fabric softener on waffle and on towels. It coats the fibers and kills absorbency over time. If a towel has stopped absorbing, wash it once with a little vinegar to strip the residue.
Keeping embroidery perfect
Our monograms are stitched, not printed, so normal washing won't harm them. Turn the robe inside out for extra protection.
FAQ
Can I put my robe in the dryer? Yes — tumble dry low; avoid over-drying.
Why did my towel stop absorbing? Fabric-softener buildup — wash without it.
