A maker’s note: the cotton in our 60/40 waffle takes a crisp, clean monogram, while plush gives a bolder, raised stitch. Neither is “better” — choose waffle for a light spa feel, plush for maximum warmth.

How the embroidery works — from our studio
Pick the robe, choose a first name or a 2–3 letter monogram, and we stitch it to order in California. It’s real embroidered thread — not printed — so it won’t crack, peel, or fade in the wash. One detail we coach customers on: a traditional 3-letter monogram reads first · LAST · middle, with the last-name initial larger in the center.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Skip fabric softener on waffle (it reduces absorbency). Normal washing won’t harm the embroidery.
